Even if you do not speak the Dutch language, you are welcome in our congregation. In our Sunday services an interpreter is always present to translate the service into English for you.
Pentecostal Morgenstond Gouda is a small Pentecostal congregation, consisting of about 500 people, including about 130 children. We meet on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am in building “De Gouden Aar” at Lage Gouwe 204 in Gouda.
Our congregation does not have a permanent pastor, but has deliberately chosen shared leadership. The congregation is led by seven elders: four pastoral elders and three administrative elders. In addition, there are about 15 deacons who are in charge of a variety of task areas in the congregation.
Our congregation believes that Jesus Christ is Savior and Lord, and we feel connected to everyone who believes the same, in Gouda and around the world. We try to look beyond our own church boundaries and seek unity.
We experience faith by worshipping God together with music and singing. We read the Bible and listen to teaching on it. We pray together and share joys and sorrows. We believe that the Holy Spirit speaks today and in the service there is room for visitors to share words of Lord.
